Default Removal of conditions deadline approaching!! QUESTIONSSS!! HELP!!!

Hello everyone,
Its been two years...it passed by like a jiffy...ok our removal of
conditions is deadline is approaching in mid august. And I have some
questions and also I would like to ask you for any input, whatsoever,
that u think will help.

ok ..questions:
1)Anyone knows of a checklist of documents that needs to be sent with
this application. I mean a good list that the INS considers
sufficient? We have our phone bills, gas/electric/ bank
statements..returned checks etc. Insurance policy...jewellery
appraisal etc. Other than these documents what else is required?
2) Regarding pictures, should we include as many pics that we took..or
just the most recent are sufficient. Does the INS require them? or is
there a minimum or maximum?
3) We are in pittsburgh,PA. So anyone know of the time it takes for
the removal of conditions these days on this side of the country?
4) How exactly does this work? I mean, since we will be filing this
petition, would I get an affirmation from the INS saying they received
the package? And also what if I have to travel in between this
process?
5) One very important question is that, suppose I file by the first
week of august, and I would have to travel in the month of august,
could i goto the local INS office and ask them for an extension stamp?
or travel documents?
6) After the INS receives and reviews the application, is there a
second interview ? or is it rare?

Ok this is all i can think of right now. Any and all input will be
helpful.
Thank you.

1.For checklist: http://www.visajourney.com/faq/index.htm#7.8
2. perhaps a few from each period of your relationship
3.4.5.. I think its Vermont you file too..will take about a year..they will send you a letter you can go to your local office and get a fresh stamp in passport.
6. There are random interviews ordered ..luck of the draw..

Use the list that comes in the instruction booklet for the I-751. It is comprehensive and you can expand what you want from there.

2) Regarding pictures, should we include as many pics that we took..or
just the most recent are sufficient. Does the INS require them? or is
there a minimum or maximum?
THERE IS NO INS. It is the USCIS and it is under the guise of the Homeland Security. As for your question on photographs, that is strictly up to you. Include color copies or color prints of all, or some, of the ones that you feel represent your continued marriage.

3) We are in pittsburgh,PA. So anyone know of the time it takes for
the removal of conditions these days on this side of the country?
Vermont is taking up to 18 months to adjudicate the I-751 not one year as Ray posted. Ours took 18 months this past year.

4) How exactly does this work? I mean, since we will be filing this
petition, would I get an affirmation from the INS saying they received
the package? And also what if I have to travel in between this
process?
YOu can always check the I-751 posting on the Kamya site under the Interview URL. People were and are quite explicit in what they did, how they mailed, what they received, length of time for adjudication, etc.

The USCIS will send you a notice of action in one to six weeks after receipt of your paperwork. This NOA will extend your greencard for one year. The extension starts on the day your green card expires. It will extend your residency benefits and will allow you to have and show proof that you can work and re-enter the US after leaving it.

5) One very important question is that, suppose I file by the first
week of august, and I would have to travel in the month of august,
could i goto the local INS office and ask them for an extension stamp?
or travel documents?
Of course you should if you have not received the NOA in time. However, without proof that you have filed for I-751 (don't think mail receipt is sufficient) they might not give you a I-551 stamp in your passport.

6) After the INS receives and reviews the application, is there a
second interview ? or is it rare?
What second interview? When would be the first?

It is not unheard of to have your petition sent to the district office and for you to be required to attend an interview. It is done if your evidence is not strong, or if they have a problem with some discrepancy in your evidence or in your file, or if they randomly pulled your name from a pile.

Ok this is all i can think of right now. Any and all input will be
helpful.
Thank you.
Again I would urge you to visit the interview pages on kamya and read the reports for the I-751. The experiences are not interviews, per se, but how people filed, etc.

Also do a search of the newsgroup for recent postings on this subject. It is one of the main issues recently and lots of information is out there.

If you can file before August if you are in need of the NOA for travel purposes.

Okay !!!!!!!!!

Right a mammoth speeding up operation within the USCIS. And I have a bridge in Brooklyn that is up for sale or perhaps the London Bridge in Arizona. Would you perhaps like to see that in your backyard?
