Can you use copies of you tax returns for the affidavit of support, or must it

Didn't you send in the originals? From what I understand, you just need the
copies of the actual forms that were filed. Best to go to IRS web site and
get the tax transcripts (free) or actual copies (pay $$).

Which form do you need this for? I-134? I-485?

You don't say what consulate you're going through, but it's my understanding that photocopies of these documents are not sufficient. I'm almost positive that he'll need the ORIGINALS of either tax transcripts or official IRS copies of the actual returns.

If his interview is April 17, then I suggest that you go ASAP to your local IRS office IN PERSON to get these documents, then express ship them to your husband for him to take to his interview.
