Default Question regarding EAD

As we have applied for I-130 ( DCF) i would be going on Conditional Resident visa to US.
I plan to work once i am in US and would like to know whether i wud require a EAD? There are a lot of posts of people applying for EAD who have come to US on k1/k3, but i culdnt find info about people applying for EAD who had come the DCF route.
Would appreciate any info about how i shuld go abt to get my EAD and also whether i wuld need it or not?
Thanks

Purvi,

Using DCF you won't need a EAD ..your GC should arrive shortly after you arrive...you have avoided AOS completely

A week to months ..when it arrives... not sure about the SSN just take the SS5 and passport down to your local SS office they will soon tell you....

You can apply for the SSN as soon as you arrive without having to wait
for the physical card. The person at the Social Security Administration
office will use the "I-551 stamp" in your passport as the main required
item of documentation
