My wife applied for her greencard in Jan of 2002. She has since
divorced and was got remarried to me. We applied for a greencard again
in Dec. 2002. Our lawyer said this would be fine, but we just got her
interview notice for her previous marriage. My question is, shouldn't
the lawyer have pulled the original paperwork and resubmitted ours?
And because of the second marriage would my wife be out of status? I
don't think she would be since we were married during her previous
adjustment of status, but I could be wrong.
