question re: extended travel
Hello,
I have a green card. Does anyone know if there is a time limit for
staying out of the US without risking losing your green card?
For example:
A job opportunity may require me to leave the US for extended period
of time (not sure how many months at a time) for a couple of years.
I want to make sure I fall within the immigration guideline and not
risk losing my green card, or chances to get my citizenship.
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Linda

If you stay out of the US for more than 6 months, I believe, the
citizenship clock is "reset"
