name or her madien name?
Thank you

Hello experts,
A friend of mine soon will have his fingerprints taken for the I-485
processing. Does anybody know what is the average time between the
fingerprints check and the completion of the I-485 processing?
Thanks

Her married name. If she got married since entering the country, there's
another spot on the form for entering her name when she arrived in the US.
Actually, I got married before entering the US, but I entered the country in
my maiden name, since I hadn't had chance to update my passport yet. When I
filled out the I-485, I put my married name, then specified that the name on
my I-94 was my maiden name. I had no problems.
The name she puts on this form is the one that will ultimately appear on her
green card.
