Default Question on filing AOS

I am filing out application to adjust status as spouse of a U.S. citizen.
Please correct me if you have similar experience filing immigration forms.

I filed below forms and documents;
I-485
G-325A (one for my husband and one for me)
I-130
I-864
I-693

-A photo copy of my husband's certificate of naturalization
-A photo copy of my husband's passport
-My husband's income tax returns for the most recent 3 tax years and W-2s
-Proof of current employment

-A photo copy of my I-20(I'm F-1 status now)
-My certified translated foreign birth certificate
-A photo copy of my passport page with nonimmigrant visa
-A photo copy of I- 94 (I changed my status from B-2 Visitor to F-1 before I got married. So I will submit I-94 of F-1. Is that O.K.? Or should I submit both I-94s? )
-A photo copy of Marriage Certificate
-Fees

Q: I am going to mail those forms and documents to Newark district office because my friend told me that Immigration Service Center accept forms only by mail. If so, where should I go to get signature of notary public for the form I-864? Also on the form I-130, it says the form should be filed at service center with jurisdiction. Does it mean I should go to Vermont? (Service Center in New Jersey)

Q: Do I need to submit any photographs with these forms?

Q: I will apply form I-765 later because I heard that I- 765 is only valid for one year, and it has to be applied about three weeks in advance for traveling abroad. Is that right?

I really appreciate it if some one could help me¡!..*^^*

Thanks,
Kate

Try the marriage based forum on Britishexpats. many posters there have
been through the process. This group is generally for visa/status
questions in non-marriage cases

You go to any notary public, and sign the form in front of him or her. They
are in the yellow pages.

Also on the form I-130, it
    > says the form should be filed at service center with jurisdiction.
    > Does it mean I should go to Vermont? (Service Center in New Jersey)

The instructions on the form do not cover all situations. When the I-130 is
filed simultaneously with the I-485, it is filed at the District Office.

When the I-130 is filed by itself (for example, if the beneficiary is
abroad, or if the petition is in a preference category with a wait for the
quota and thus the I-485 cannot be filed), then it is filed at the Service
Center.

If you do not file an I-130, the District Office will not accept the I-485.

    > Q: Do I need to submit any photographs with these forms?

Of course! Read the instructions. Photographs are filed with the I-130,
I-485, and I-131.

    > Q: I will apply form I-765 later because I heard that I- 765 is only

The I-765 is for employment authorization, not travel permission. If you
are absolutely sure you do not want to be employed, you do not have to file
this.

Form I-131 is for travel permission, known as advance parole. You never
know when a travel emergency might come up, so you should get your advance
parole as soon as you can.

I recommend filing both forms with the I-485. They will both be valid for
only one year. You should file for their renewals way ahead of their
expiration dates, so that you hold continuously valid documents. They take
awhile to be approved.
