hi all.
some of you may remember me from around xmas time last year. fiance went back home due to problems with her mother. anyway, we have re-filed for the k1, and she is coming for a two week visit and arriving in atlanta on july 10. i've seen all of the previous posts about visiting and i was wondering what is the difference from when they foreign fiance visits during the process or they visit without filing for the visa yet. why is there such a big deal about them being denied entry? i dont understand why they look at the fiance differently when they are awaiting the visa and they come for a visit. just a question i've been pondering lately since her arrival is getting closer now. i'm pretty sure they will question her just cuz of the fact that the old visa is in her passport still( i think so anyway). but we'll see if they allow her entry. any info or opinions are appreciated.

I remember you!, I am glad you guys decided to re-file the I-129
.Traveling under the VWP or under a visitor's visa is always a gambling at the POE.
You guys have filed an I-129 but that in many cases that does not satisfy the POE's officer curiosity, you can't leave anything to chance!!. My advice to you is that she brings as much proof that she is coming back to her country after a short visit such as proof of residence (letter from landlord if you rent a place, deed, mortgage, or other document stating her home address in her home country), a letter from an employer stating that she is expected to come back at a certain date, bills addressed to her.
Hope that helps!!
