Default Putting Together Embassy Interview Info

Well today we got the I-797 NOA come through and I now want to start putting together the things required for the embassy interview in advance. I was wondering how others have gone about this? Did you binder it all or just put it into a folder and pull out the required documents when asked for them? I was thinking of buying a folder that had alphabetical compartments so it would be easier to find things when asked for them. Also, photo's, I take it getting them printed onto photo paper is acceptable and marking the date and location underneath, i take it these do not have to be bindered either and keeping the pages loose would suffice?

Thanks in advance

Do not bind anything. Never ever bind anything unless it is your personal files.

Purchase an accordion file (redweld) and manila folders. Label the folders and insert documents. Place them in the order that is requested on the document checklist you will receive from the US Consulate website in London as that is the order in which you will be asked to hand over documents.

You are overthinking things for a K-1. You do not need photos. You do not need a realm of documentation to substantiate your personal relationship. They will not be asked for. If it makes you feel secure because you are feeling apprehensive and unqualified for the K-1 visa, then by all means put together evidence of your continued relationship.

Be sure to have one COPY and one ORIGINAL of everything you are to submit. Two things not to forget: The I-134 Affidavit of Support ... with an original signature and the new letter of intent from your USC fiancée.

Not mentioning any names, I do remember a former poster here who would advise "Don't be a binder boy."

Personally I will be putting all my documents and photocopies in a binder as it just makes life easier, I like to be organised.... and there's nothing wrong with that!
