We received online approval for k1 through VSC on January 13,2003 and I
received the NOA2 letter in the mail on 1/18/03. My fiance' is using
the embassy in Cairo, Egypt. On 1/14/03 the online message stated that
the embassy had been notified of our case's approval.

My questions are:

Does anyone know if Cairo will open a provisional file?

or...How can I find out if they will?

and... if they do, what is the procedure for doing so?
