Has anyone submitted a petition for alien fiance(e) to the Vermont Service Center in

I turned in my petition in Mid August and received my notice about 10 days later. The
Petition was approved 20 days later. I called the Vermont Service Center and was told
that from the day the INS Officer starts reviewing the paperwork, he or she has 15 to
21 days to make a decision. Mine was approved after 2 days.

I did use the VSC, but in July. They are actually the best and fastest of the service
centres. It took about a month. I got my visa on the 5th of Sept.
Good luck and don't worry. You got lucky you could us the best one!

I posted our K-1 application to Vermont on August 31. I know they got it on September
4 (certified mail receipt), but I haven't heard anything from them yet. I figure
nothing was done this week.
