Default Passed my interview

Hello All,

I just wanted to tell you all that my wife and I passed our
Citizenship interview yesterday.

They asked 10 questions. All from those sample tests. They also
asked us to read and write a sentence.

Now, according to officer, we should have to wait for 2 to 3 months
for our oath ceremony.

Thanks

That's what they said to my friend back in early March. Something to the
extent of "pure formality - couple months". You can count that it has been
5+ months since interview, and no oath notice in the mail. So, don't get too
optimistic.

I beg to differ. My oath ceremony is scheduled for Aug 25th. 6 weeks after
my interview.

I guess I was the lucky one, had my interview and did the oath ceremony,
and got my citi certificate the same day..

I guess those days are gone..

Cheers,

John

I had my interview in late May, 2004. At the time of the interview, the officer
told me to expect to hear something from them within 2 to 3 months. Only 2
weeks later, on June 1st (I believe), I received a letter informing me that my
Oath Ceremony was scheduled for June 4th. It's election year. Things are
moving fast when it comes to naturalization! Either that, or the USCIS officer
really liked me. Good luck!

Heh. I'm still waiting for oath scheduling after a December interview.
I wouldn't mind being able to vote in November!

I did. It didn't seem to be a big deal to my interviewer. (I figured I
may as well err on the side of caution.)
