Default Packet #3 no more?

Hi all,

I just met with an attorney trying to get started on the K-1 process to bring
my fiance to California from China. She told me that once the 129F petition has
been approved by the INS, I would get an approval form, and I can send that
form to my fiance in China, she can call the US consulate in China and schedule
an interview right away. I asked why a packet #3 was not mentioned, and she
said that was just for K2 visa or people with children. Would someone please
advise. THis attorney is very reputable and has been in business for over 10
years, and has handled K-1 visas numeroud times. Is she right? Thanks.
