Default Packet #3/Interview at Embassy - Proof of Engagement?

Just curious about what people out there are doing for this. I know the first and most common answer will be to show the receipt for an engagement ring. For me, we just got something inexpensive until my fiance gets here, then we will replace with something nice. I wanted to give her the real engagement ring once we could be together forever. SO I can;t just show them a receipt for that.

We got engaged last July.
Things I can show them are:

-Receipt for her Xmas present, small diamond and white gold necklace.
-Emails, Letters, etc showing us discussing our engagement
-photo's of us looking happy as hell together
-I have plane ticket boarding passes from both all of last summer (when we were engaged) and this Xmas (I was there 2.5 weeks)
-I can show cell phone receipts, calling card receipts, etc.
-I can show them deposits FROM Singapore that Liz makes occationally (I gave her a duplicate ATM card from my checking account)
-A wriiten statement from me about how we met and how much I love her. What I want for our future. etc.

Any other ideas guys? Do I need to have more or other specific things for this? What type of things did you do?

Thanks,
STeve

We read people being asked at the interview whether US citizen knows the fiance(e)'s family and whether the alien knows the US citizen's family. So I was thinking whether we could present some sort of proof for this.

1. So may be any picture of yourself with your fiancee and her family will be very informative. It gives an idea that you know her family and they know you.

2. Sometimes people provide written evidences from friends and family about the relationship. It may be also work in your way.

However there are not absolute requirements. Its also difficult to obtain pictures as most of the time, only the US citizen is able to visit his/her fiance(e) and family. Its just a thought of strengthening our case. May be future applicants can think of similar ideas.

You won't need a whole lot of bumpf to send BCIS. All we sent were 2 pics, a few emails, a phone bill, and copies of my flight stubs. We didn't include our ring receipt, either, but we were approved.

I am refering to the interview at the embassy. I was already approved at the BCIS. Our interview is in about a 5-6 weeks. Any other ideas for proof? Am I taking this too seriously. Maybe people here that have already had the interview can share their experiences.

I wasn't asked for any evidence of our relationship whatsoever at my interview in London. I don't think they need it, but it's always wise to take some just in case. If they do want some, I wouldn't think they'd need any more than the things you sent for your petition.
Good luck for your big day.

I'm learning a lot here...I didn't realize we would need to show
"proof of engagement" at his interview. If that's the case, probably
all we will come up with would be pictures of our small engagement
party, exchanging rings (yep, he got one too!), with his cousin in the
picture. If necessary, his cousin can write an affidavit. None of my
family or friends was there. We don't have a ring receipt, we bought
them at the bazzar in Turkey (I was so excited it didn't even occur to
me to ask for a receipt, dang it! lol), but his ring is engraved
inside with our names and the date of our engagement. He can show
them that. I have some emails from friends congratulating me on my
engagement. I hope my train of thought has helped you think of some
things.
