Out of status and i-485
Hi:
I need some serious help. I appreciate you reading this.
My wife is in the process of applying for her h1-b and EB2 (yes,
concurrently). Assuming everything goes ok, she should be able to file
her i-485 soon. We were adviced to file together. But here is the
problem, I am out of status. Should I file with her? Will my status
effect her status? In another word, if I am denied due to out of
status, will she be denied also. We have 2 children and my wife works
for a major university.
Thanks in advance

Yes.

No.
BTW, when she applies for H-1 B, doesn't her spouse needs to apply for
H4? If I were you, I would spen some money and get some consultation.
Yes.
