I went through the same thing after I received my first NOA from CSC Jan 2.
They approved it on March 8. It was forwarded to NVC the same week. Now,
it's on its way to the consulate.

It sounds familiar. I did bug our senator here in California. They found out
that my case was still in the timeline yet. So, they could not do anything.
Just wait until it's longer than normal processing center. I think that they
put the time frame on the status check on purpose, so we don't bug them.

it's starting to lookless and less like the three week thing was a rule and more like a batch of happy exceptions....
unless davehollis's site has gone unupdated by the couples, a lot of us vermont people haven't heard from our 2nd noa in anything from 22 or 28 days to 42, 51, 55, 107, 121 to even 175 days.

i'm gonna start worrying after day 46 (they say they take 30-45 days to process it), but i wonder if the numbers above are true or just couples neglecting their own timelines....

Debbie,

I think we shall both be looking for something next week or so. This is harder than waiting for all those weeks past that is for sure. I fly out to see my honey a week from Friday so I am hoping a big celebration will be in order

Was kind of hoping today would be our day as it is my sweeties birthday but that might be just a bit to optimistic

bequibar,

Have you by any chance called them? My case has already gone to the consulate in Paris.

It couldn't hurt to give em a call.

Welcome aboard Lee...

i am at the last stage of the k1 visa (ie fiance' has appointment with
the embassy for his visa on May 7). We went through the Vermont Service
Center as well. I found them to be relatively expedient in processing
my petition for a visa. I don't know how they've been in the past few
months, but I wish you and yours all the best. I look forward to
following your journey/

when does one considar "longer than normal processing time" has passed? just
curious as we're still waiting for our i-129f petition from NSC. like many
were first told 70-100 days. that came and went. then timeline went to
150-180 days. that's definitely come and gone as we're on day 226!!!!

i started badgering NSC, my senator and congressional offices on day 190 and
still continue to do so. keep getting same ridicules answers:

" your petition is processing normally, just gotta be patient"
" you should watch more movies on immigration so you can understand better how
things proceed here"(film and movie industry in Nebraska is really hopping!)
"only a psychic would know when your petition will be approved"(ain't it
incredible what our $110 pays for?)
"quite wasting your money by calling us with your inquiries"(was calling on my
cell phone which has free long distance and very quick redial-hee hee).
and so on it goes........

can someone out there in k-1 never neverland help us?
Ms. Missing My Parisian Man in Ann Arbor, MI
1st noa nsc 9/13/02
2nd...............sob...sob..sob.......

We are now waiting for Eric to receive packet 3. I think Leo Le Brun is also close to getting an interview date. Other than that, I don't know of anyone else that has gone through Paris already.
