Hi all,

How long does it normally take the CSC to post an approved I-130 petition to the NVC? And does the NVC do all those FBI checks? And how long does it take the NVC to send out documents to people, considering that we don't have to wait for a visa number?

CSC insists that files are bundled for shipment on the day following
approval; two days max.

I'd plan two to four weeks from time of approval to contact by NVC. You
can call the NVC number (not toll free) during off hours, enter your
petition "WAC" number, and confirm whether NVC has receieved the case.

Hey!

We got a case number in 6 days! But it seems to be nearer 15 - 20 days again now.
DS3202 and I864 fee bill arrived on day 22 and we're now waiting for IV fee bill.

Say what?? The WAC number.. Is that somewhere on the NOA2 approved I-130 form?? Or.. am I going to get some kind of message or letter from the NVC that says they received the approved I-130 from California??

You use your CSC case # and yes .. it's the number that is on both the NOA1 and NOA2
