No fee for EAD?

We just filed for AOS today (along with AP & EAD)... They collected the $220 for AOS
and $95 for AP but did not collect the $100 for EAD. I'm not going to complain about
this since we were issued the Employment card but is this normal for the K-1 process?
Another comment... My wife was not given an I-94 (Or lost it) when she entered the US
& some of the forms said you should have the I-94 when you file so we had also filled
out the I-102 to get a new / replacement I-94... They gave us back the I-102 & said
they thought they already had enough info (saved us $85)!
Long lines but no hassles, everyone was very nice & polite!
