I don't ignore it.

There is a wiki page that addresses it already.

I think you get confused about my feelings about advocating planning ahead to enter on the VWP and adjust status.

Plenty of people find themselves here and then decide. While it's a fine line, it's different.

Ok then.

Bob. Is it possible to create a table with 4 columns in it, on a wiki page?

Or can I just paste HTML somehow and create the table in notepad or something else.

If you want to go ahead and create the blank page as a placeholder, we could call it 'Comparison of Legal Marriage-Based immigration paths' or similar (I know that's a mouthful).

I'll put something together later in the week. I'm of the opinion that we should only list legal ways to immigrate.

I don't think there's a need to include the word 'legal' in the title.

Why not just compare the marriage-based VISAS and let the others ask away?

Sounds good.

'Comparison of marriage-based visas'

And please, PLEASE if someone creates the page, don't incorrectly put an apostrophe between the A and S in visas.....I'd cringe every time I looked at it.

Yes... I'll PM you the raw HTML code for a page I did a year or so ago. You can adapt it to suit your needs.

It wouldn't be complete without! Though if someone mentions instruments of medieval torture, they may have gone too far.

See if the following works -- we have the same wiki as wikipedia. If it doesn't, you'll have to ask Sue to get IB to add the class.

BG,

No, I don't. But neither do I enjoy seeing people give out misleading or incorrect information.

I also don't enjoy people telling me what I enjoy or what my intentions are.

Regards, JEff

Wikimedia sets up the page when you type in the URL. So if you type in your browser "http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Rete for Queen" <enter>, you'll get a new page with URL britishexpats.com/wiki/Rete_for_Queen and titled Rete for Queen.

That's what I got told last time (for the tax filing wiki) but it didn't work for me.

I'll give it another go.

BG36, can you not simply flesh out this existing article?
http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Marriage_Based_Green_Card

Anyone else: Is there a simple explanation for why some of the immigration articles appear under 'USA' (and also under Immigration), and some do not?
The whole wiki organization thing confounds me.

Place the following at the top of your page and it will appear in both USA and USA Immigration.

Code:
[[Category:USA Immigration]] [[Category:USA]]

ahhhh. And that can be edited in?

Should all immigration articles (or most) have that added? Or subtracted, so they only appear in Immigration?
Just trying to understand if there is a rationale etc

Just copy and paste the code at the top of each one you want to edit.

All articles should be categorized to distinguish them from dingo and cannuk ones! If you add both categories as given they'll appear in USA and USA Immigration. Where do you want them to appear? If it's only the one, just use one of them.
