Need HELP with I-864 ... Plz
Hi guys,
We need a little help with the I-864 form :
- My wife(USC) is filling this form , as a supporting documents
does she have to include(If i'm right...) are :
- her W2 forms form last 3 yrs.
- her latest pay stub.
- We are from NH , the "125% of poverty line requirement" for a household size of 2 is $14,512.00 (right ?)
- while calculating the household income , we have to consider the amount mentioned on her W2's (right ?)
- Ref. PART 4.C : "sponsers household size"
its just two of us.So only 4.C.1 & 4.C.2 will be filled.
under that section is a table stating "list the persons .. "
again it will be both of us , BUT what will be A# , we both have SS# (shes a USC & i'm on my H1B1.)
Any help is appriciated...!!

$14,925 according to: http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/howdoi/affsupp.htm#income

I would have thought so. That's her taxable income. That's what we're doing.

"sponsors household size" is in 4B according my form, dated Rev
11/05/01. You want to make sure you have the most up to date version of the form. You
can get them on the INS website.
The way I see it:
B.
1. Number of persons (related to you by birth etc) living in your residence,
including yourself (Do NOT include persons being sponsored in this
affadavit)........... you would answer 1.
2. Number of immigrants being sponsored in this affadavit (Include all persons in
Part 3.)........... you would answer 1.
For 3 and 4 answer "0", unless she has sponsored someone in the past
(3) or has children living elsewhere (4). You shouldn't leave them blank.
As for SS and A #s, the first page of the form makes it clear who's numbers you put
down, IMO. Part 3 is your info, because you're the immigrant being sponsored. The
first part is your wife's info.
I should say though, that I am about where you are, so haven't had any feedback as to
whether out forms have been filled out properly or not.

K-1 app. mailed 1/24/2002. First NOA received 2/4/2002 (dated 1/28). Approval via
automated phone line 2/13. Sydney consulate cabled 2/14.
