Nebraska - K1 Approval
BlankFirst NOA - 6/25/02
Second NOA - 10/30/02
We have been holding our breath these last few weeks, now that Nebraska
seems to be returning to some state of normality (not quite sure what that
means!). On checking this newsgroup daily and Dave Hollis's site daily I
note that there are still some May (and April?) applications still not dealt
with. Sincerely, if our first NOA date is after yours, we do hope you will
have the news for which you waiting very soon. We do feel for you.
Can't say that, at this moment, I am happy - much more a sense of relief.
Now on to the next stage!

Telman,
May be it was something you did that sped up your process relative to other
applications. Can you recall or just describe what you did?

Shaun,
I don't believe there is anything we did at the time of making the
application or since which would have made any significant difference. We
took account of the information available (initially) on this newsgroup and
the web-sites to which we were directed so that the application
documentation was in the order recommended. We did, of course, make sure
everything that was supposed to be there was included. Beyond that, I am
not aware of anything which would have made a difference.
Compared to many we have clearly been fortunate. I am afraid I cannot help
beyond that.

Yay! I am happy for you, and insanely jealous :-) Our first NOA is May 10th :-( We have been told that our petition has been randomly selected to have advanced security checks, and they couldn't give us a timeline of when it will be finished.
Lucky you then!
Peace,
D.

Hiya M, we're at Nebraska also. They just told me fiance that they randomly pick (didn't say how many) petitions for additional (don't know what) security checks...it was all very vague. The first time my fiance spoke to them they said our petition would be finished with in 2 weeks...so he called them back in 2 weeks, and spoke to someone else who said that what the previous person had said was incorrect, that they had no right to say it, and they couldn't tell us how long it would take. So we have no idea of what's going on :-( Maybe they will send us an RFE, but who can tell?
Peace,
