Default Which name to use for AOS documents?

Hello from the west coast. I am now a married man! I have one quick question relating to my AOS documents.

Given my wife has taken my surname as her legal name, what do we put when it comes to completing the required AOS forms? Does she put her maiden name or her new legal name? All her ID documents (passport / drivers licence) are in her maiden name as you would expect. I presume we don't need to update these first before we can submit my adjustment application?

Advice appreciated.

She should put whatever name she's currently using.

All her ID documents (passport / drivers licence) are in her maiden name as you would expect.
That doesn't matter.

I presume we don't need to update these first before we can submit my adjustment application?
Correct.

People always say this, and then I feel compelled to correct them!

See here. In this case... it doesn't matter which name she uses.

Are you asking about adjustment of status or affidavit of support? The former includes the latter, but just wondering.

Hi. Both documents, plus any others where my new wife is referenced.

Many thanks to both of you for your replies. When we're back from our vacation I'll have to finalise the paperwork
