Mystery solved I-129F/K-3/K-4 1st NoA
Okay, the truth can now be told - I wasn't exactly freaking out about
the delay in getting the 1st NoA on my I-129F/K-3/K-4 petition for
over two weeks, but I will confess to being more than a little
concerned. I received the I-797C in the mail today, 1/17/2003. It
was postmarked 1/6/2003 and dated 1/3/2003. I guess they sent the NoA
overland on a mule train with a detour through the Grand Canyon. How
else can you explain it taking 11 days to travel 1200 miles? Okay, so
now I am my usual cool, calm and dry self ;^). Thank goodness I'm not
the nervous type.

Way to go Richard. So your trying to convince us that your cool calm & collected huh?? Sure even though we all know youve still got a long wait ahead of you. Still that first NOA is great to get isnt. It kinda makes you feel as though you are finally getting somewhere in this long, winding brick road. Fingers & toes crossed that your wait wont be too long. Its so good to hear some happy news for a change & your postings are always something to smile about.
Cheers

Bear in mind, the service center mail is such that the time between
actual printing and mailing can be a delay of several days. Just
consider a volume of SEVERAL thousand apps a day and you should
understand the lag.
