My fiance received his K1 visa today...YIPPEE!!!!
Hello everyone,
Today at 4:30am, PST, my fiance called to let me know he had received his visa through the London Embassy. The whole process from the Dr's office to getting that highly sought after document in his hands was about 4.5 hours.
It's funny how we were so worried about it,(I more than him) and it turned out to be a piece of cake.
Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for answering all my never ending questions for the K1 process. I'm sure I'll have tons more for the AOS.
Our timeline roughly was
CSC/London
11/8/02 - received first NOA dated 11/5/02
12/02 - Fiance receives Police Certificate
12/3/02- Provisional file number given
12/20/02- CSC approves petition
12/30/02- London cabled, faxed or phoned
1/3/03- receive interview date
1/17/03- Fiance receives his visa
YIPPEE !!!

Yes, I was there with Chris at the embassy all thruoughout for the medicals and embassy. I got my visa too. Chris congrats once again and have a wonderful time in Sans Francisco.
