I want to thank ALL OF YOU who have stuck with me, and put up with all my worrying
and crap the past year...you have made a HUGE difference in our lives. My fiance and
I have decided to create a German-specific K-1 help site when we are finished getting
settled in after our May wedding. I especially want to thank all of those people who
took the time to give me one on one help with our visa paperwork, and especially to
Jonathan & Alvena, whose sites I have been reading backwards and forwards for the
past year...and why do you ask do I give my thanks?? Read on......... Well, as of
a phone call from the car at 6 AM (Eastern time), my fiance's visa was issued, and is
due to arrive in the mail in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks from today. We are soooo excited. I
miss him so much. Its been about 7 actual months from start to finish of all this
mess. I would have preferred to do DCF as Alvena mentioned long long ago, but due to
the fact that I had no available vacation time then, and no travel money to work
with, this was the quickest route for us, getting the K-1. I will say one
thing...even though I worried more about all kinds of crap more than any person in
here, the complete visa process went smoothly with never a question in any of the
officer's minds who handled our case. I bit my fingers down to nothing for no good
reason. You can all give me a good swift kick in the butt now for ever doubting
myself.
Our timeline:
Mailed K-1 petition: Oct 21 First NOA from TSC: Oct 26 2nd NOA from TSC: Jan 22
Interview at Frankfurt: Apr 6 Wedding scheduled: May 1st
Now in about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks he is back in my arms. I am very very happy right now.

go through. Guess you will be Jitters for a few more years ) But at least a
happy Jitter.

Congratulations, Jitters! I remember reading many of your posts while going through
our K-1 process and I was just as nervous as you - only difference is, being a man I
didn't let anyone know. But, if it will make you feel any better, bend...
