Vancouver called and said the earliest they had was April 15th. So that's when we scheduled it. Nothing better than waiting around an extra month for no reason. I'll let everyone know how it goes in a few weeks.

Hi everyone,

I finally graduated to the 2nd NOA list. My K3 visa petition was
approved finally per the online status. WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! The many
posts in this thread and this newsgroup was very encouraging to me and
my wife while we waited for our RFE to be resolved. I want to express
my thanks to everyone. Now on to the next stage.

mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business

Victor, congratulations!! I am so happy for you . All the waiting finally paid off. Your approval will give hope to others who are waiting esp. with RFE's. You're one step closer..... now it's VSC time....then Consulate....then Visa Interview....

This is great! Good luck on the interview, rreynol. It's my husband's birthday and his coming here on that day to spend 9 great days with me. He will be there in Vancouver on April 29 and as soon as he gets his Visa he'll fly back to Winnipeg and quit his job.

Thats gotta feel great Victor !!! Hopefully a few more waiting on thier RFEs will be soon to follow !!! I know it must have been a little extra unneeded stress to have to deal with but you came out of it just fine !!! Maybe this will start a chain reaction and we will see more RFEs clear up within days !!!

Great news on getting your interview date rrenol, I know you didnt choose "Tax day" on purpose LOL I am sure I don't need to remind to make sure you have them done by the 14th. You have bigger and better things to do on the 15th !!!!

On March 29, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

till now ihavn't receive RFE letter from them..i donno what hey ask for,will keep u guys update.when i received letter from them
hoping & wishing they will ask me for simple things..

hi guys
i called NVC and my case isnt there yet... i guess i should just wait another week , after all i was approved on March 26.
also i m getting the supporting docs ready, so if any of u can tell me what exactly i will need that would be great. my lawyer will help us, but i wanna get more feedback as to what is neede at the interview.

Looks like its official, today I recieved the second NOA for my wife's
K-3...also...it looks like it takes a while to update the phone
system, my wife's K-3 was approves 3/28/03 and as of 3/31/03 the phone
message has not been updated.

1st NOA 11/8/02

Yeah, tax day. We seemed to time that pretty well. The only thing is I am still waiting on the IRS to send us my wife's ITIN number, since she can't get a SSN (YET). Filing married instead of single will give us quite a bit more of a refund. They said if I don't get it in time to just file "single" and then submit an amended return.
They also said I could file for an extension, ------ but ------ here it comes ---- you need to put your spouse's SSN or ITIN number on the extension form or it's invalid. That just doesn't help me at all, does it?
Anyway, I'll figure it out.

Thanks for all the warm replies-cdcib, gcrobidoux, Donna, Kerupt,
ndrobert. I hope I didn't miss anyone. Yep it feels great to move on
to the second NOA list.

ndrobert I am sorry to hear you had to join the RFE gang but as you
can see they appear to resolve RFE's within 30 days of receiving the
requested info. Hang in there its probably something simple. Mine was
just another clear copy of our marriage certificate.
