House completes on 19th Sept and we fly that night woohoo!

Now mad Trademe rush! haha!

I know this so well, you describe it beautifully! For me it is a Baptism of Fire; it is really wearing me down. The last bit;- the selling of the last stuff left, and the fear that what's ultimately left will put me into overweight luggage, is so palpable I can almost cut a slice of it!

But I know it will all be done; I don't feel it, but I know it. All I can advise is look at the end goal. For me that is the only thing keeping me going! Good luck to you chocs!

It is great being able to share fears, worries, emotions and good times with people in a similar situation.
Over the past few days this board has given me some good relief and has allowed for thoughts to be aired and shared.

It sure does take a weight off you...

We have a target of how much we want to have saved prior to going home. Realistically that will be mid-next year. So yes, once that target has been hit we will be leaving NZ, most likely go and explore Canada for 2 months then go home, buy a house and settle.
