Moscow Document Requirements? Please Confirm?
Now that our I-129F has been approved, and presumably on it's way to Moscow,
my fiancé is very concerned about my understanding of just exactly which
documents I must provide her. She wants to have everything just right when
her interview FINALLY rolls around.
I have read the Fiancé Visa instructions on the Moscow Embassy website very
carefully and there appears to be no requirement for me to send her an
I-134?
I was also told by Mr. Travel I believe, several weeks ago, that the Moscow
Embassy does not require the I-134 [any longer]. I have also read
(somewhere?) that the Embassy places a requirement on the K-1 visa that AOS
be applied for prior to the expiration of the 90 day visa. In this case
(obviously) the I-864 would have to be completed for the AOS application.
Can anyone confirm this for me by recent experience?
Also... I am self employed. The Embassy website K-1 instructions state that
I need to provide my fiancé with (assuming I do not have a salary statement
from an employer) my LAST years tax return. Only one. Here is exactly what
it says, "Employment letter with salary information and/or a copy of tax
returns (Form 1040) for the last year."
Can anyone confirm this (by recent experience)?
Any additional documentary requirements for K-1 interviews at Moscow in
recent months will also be greatly appreciated. In other words, guys?? What
documents did they ask her to produce?
Thanks to anyone,
Bob

Re: Moscow Document Requirements? Please Confirm?
Bob,I am in the same position as you.I was just approved by NSC,my
fiancee is
in Ekaterinburg.We are mostly concerned
with the criminal investigation document. That seems to be the most
difficult to obtain. She told me today that the report has to go back 16
years. She lived for three years in another city, which
has her thinking it will make the task more
daunting than it is.I have ask for info within this group, and received
some thoughts on the matter, but nothing concrete. She said she has found
help, and next week will no more, which I will pass on to you.
Also,a record of my telephone communication was requested, and any photos
if she does not have any already,
are important.
As I said before,I am just getting started
in this chapter of "Mission Impossible"
so this is all I can offer at this time.
Please let me know of any information
you may find that I could use.
Thanks,John
