Montreal / Vancouver Consulate
Hi All,
My fiance received the actual NOA2 notice in the mail today... The problem
is - they're sending it to the wrong consulate.... I live in Calgary, and
the consulate says Montreal, not Vancouver... Can I call Montreal and/or
Vancouver and have them transfer the file when they receive it from the NVC
.. or should I call the NVC and ask them?
Thanks!
DeAnna

Thats exactly what happened to me in January (I live in Calgary also)... just call the Montreal consulate every few days to see if they have received your file yet and make sure they note that as soon as they do, they should forward it to Vancouver.
# for Montreal consulate can be found at http://www.amcits.com/montreal.asp
It only delayed the process by about a day, no biggie.
Unfortunately once it goes to Vancouver you can only correspond by email, no phone calls.

Good luck! As long as you include all your documents, Vancouver is very quick
