Can someone tell me what papers we need, as a foreigner from Europe, to get
married in New Orleans Louisianna.

you can check out the state website, type in a search or Lousiana Marriage lincense.

I do know they will waive the 3 day waiting period for a couple that is from out of state. They did not need a social security number either from the fiance.

I called the court house with many questions about getting married there. That was our orginial plans, but due to an emergency we were married in Virginia and had a wedding ceremony in New Orleans a month later.

for each parish (as La calls what other states calls counties)
