Default Medical question

Hi everyone,

I am a UKC and we are about to apply for a K-1, but something concerns
me. I am currently on medication for depression - is this likely to
cause a problem with immigration, visa or the medical test in London?

Many thanks,

Kath

This will not cause a problem as long as your medication is controlling the depression. Just to be on the safe side you could get a letter from your doctor to explain your condition, how it is being treated and it is under control. I think there is also a page on the BCIS web site that explains how the medical classes different types of mental illness so you could try there to put your mind at ease. But don't worry you will be fine.
