are supposed to take a medical examination I-693, while filing for

Re: Medical Examination for K-3 visa holders
I found this on the newsgroup and thought it would help you out.
Ks: If you were admitted to the United States as a fiance(e) (K-1), child of
a fiance(e) (K-2), Spouse of a U.S. citizen (K-3), or child of K-3 (K-4),
and received a medical examination prior to admission, then you do not
require another medical examination as long as your application for
adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed within one year of your overseas
medical examination. You will, however, be required to submit a vaccination
supplement with our adjustment of status application. The vaccination
supplement must be completed by a designated civil surgeon.

Hope this helps!

So does that mean we don't need to complete the I-693 form at all?
Thanks!

Thanks for the info Ambria, does this mean that K-3 visa holders do
not have to file I-693 at all?

Re: Medical Examination for K-3 visa holders
That's what I would say...since it states they must have a medical before
they enter and then they say:
"then you do not require another medical examination as long as your
application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed within one year
of your overseas medical examination."
I have also read this too on either this newsgroup or a forum where if they
have had a medical when entering, they do not need another one when they
file the I-485. So this clears it up then.....
Anyone else want to add to this???
