Marrying on Visa Wavier

Does anyone know or have experience with marrying and AOS on a Visa Wavier when the
I-129 has already been sent in? If you have a "Clean" entry into the US, can it be
done properly? Thanks

I have been racking my brains (didnt take long) to try and remember another case but
I can't. I think it could be done properly though but I guess it would depend on the
local office views of things and the examiner.

Look at an entry for july 8 99, its an AOS in Seattle after a K1 submission got AFO.
