Default marrying in the usa

i was wondering if i went to the usa on a visa waiver program would i be allowed to marry my usa boyfriend and stay there not returning to the uk. And how i would go about it.

You can marry your boyfriend while here on the VWP but you need to leave the US before your VWP expires (it's valid for 90 days) and start the spousal visa process in the UK. The spousal visa will allow you to re-enter the US and adjust your status to permanent resident.

It is illegal to enter the US on the VWP (or tourist visa) with immigration intent. Assuming you are outside the US right now, by asking how to "go about it" you have effectively already demonstrated immigration intent, at least in my opinion.

You might consider doing a forum search using the keywords "10 foot pole". This question has been asked and answered countless times already.
