Before you toss this off as "bull", you should try existing solely for another person. I guarantee that you will eventually destroy yourself. It's a very difficult thing to do... exist for someone else... never a thought for yourself or your own well-being - never, not once! Eventually, when there's nothing left... when you're totally spent, you'll realize the truth.

Oh... wait, were you talking about true love being an illusion? I believe it is. Why? Because true love is selfless... and to deny the self... well, you get the idea. JMHO.

A while back, you indicated that you understood what I was saying. You said, "ok, i think i follow you.". So, either you lied when you said that, or you think Rete's made some sort of point and you want in on the action! Either way, I didn't say anything about not marrying for love. My comment, in fact, had nothing whatsoever to do with marriage! Perhaps you missed that!

I will say this - just so there's no confusion for any of the long-time posters on the forum - any comments I have made in the last few days relating to "true love", were in relation to my first marriage... not my current marriage!

So, to quote Forrest Gump, "that's all I have to say about that!"

We are not ganga smokers, but Jamaica is a less complicated existence. I had an epiphany, if for whatever reason, the USA became intolerable to live in and the only thing I could do is to immigrate to somewhere like Canada, I could not imagine myself marrying someone just for the immigration status.

Marriage by its definition is tool personal. Whether is is a real marriage or a sham marriage. Beyond navigating the whole immigration process, I have tangled my family, (daughter, mother, father, and etc) with someone who I am using, this would take major cohones. So I think that the fraudulent marriages are not common and the ones who commit them have some major ones.

I never have been to Canada, but one day I may.I just hate see and know that
there are people out there who do use people to get a visa. Now I don't know
where your are from and I do hope we are on the same page.Marriage is is a
union from God,and he gives us favor, not a visa.
