Thanks so much for your response! Fortunately, my fiance's visa was approved today and they have waived his requirement for a police clearance from Spain since he was never a resident & also b/c he was living & working on a boat and therefore not technically "living in" Spain. Anyway...we are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy and wish you all the best of luck!!!
