I still think calling the local USCIS doctors from the list, and asking them if they accept your insurance would be the fastest way to determine if one of the USCIS doctors is under your health plan.
The EAD (Employment Authorization Document) takes about 90 days to receive. You can still continue working for your current employer without the EAD, while you're waiting for your AOS interview. The EAD comes in handy if you want to change jobs.

I'm going to wait til after I return in August to file everything. I just don't want to mess anything up and want to have all the necessary documents.
I also have to wait til the end of July anyway (Skeleton #1 - I was arrested and fingerprinted recently and am waiting for the charges to be dismissed either in or out of court). I understand this might slow the process down even more. Despite the fact it is a minor affair (I was arrested on a technicality I was unaware of), criminal charges were still filed against me. Does anyone have any experience in these matters? It'll be over very soon, but I am very bummed that this stupid experience could overshadow this process for me.
In terms of the medical - what can I expect?
I've printed out all the documents that were listed and instructions and am getting ready for some heavy reading...

Hi,
Continued from: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=544775
I started a new thread for your AOS questions, since you aren't doing DCF after all, which was the title and topic of your old thread. I'm going to close the old thread so no one answers on that one.
