Default Local Mother To Be Deported...

A very sad interview outcome for a local mother who's been here for more
than 16 years raising her kids...

Thanks for sharing that, Max.

Talk about lack of details!! How did she immigrate to the USA in the first place? How did she end up in deportation procedings? Why was the appeal refused? We're only hearing a very small portion of a very long story.

We are only hearing a small protion of things here... However, As a Mom, could you imagine being taken away from your children, that is just terrible. No mother should endure that. We all know how difficult the system can be.

Maybe the family can move to the Ivory Coast? At least they'd still all be together.

Hopefully all will work out, the United States Government needs a good shake up. I feel when I call the USCIS line, I am on hold for over an hour. Good luck to the woman and God Bless

I agree! The story was deliberately written to give the impression that the woman is the sad victim. I suspect that is pretty far from the truth.

She had a lawyer.

Filed CR1?

The interview would be in the Ivory Coast surely.

None of it makes sense.

Not exactly stuffed either, just need to file the waiver and enter legally.

Ivory Coast is involved in a bloody civil war...
Don't think sending someone to where there's war away from their family is a good idea.

Does not seem any worse than most other African Countries.

She has not, according to the story, applied for Assylum.
