Default K3 Visa US in UK coming back to US

Right now I am living in Florida my fiance lives in London. We are getting married in March while he is here on the visa waiver. The day after the wedding we are going to New York to get my spouse visa to move to London. I hear this should only take a day or two. After we arrive in London we are going to begin the process of getting my, then husband, his visa so that we can move back to the US. How do we go about getting him his visa, and making it so that when we arrive he can begin work? Can I do all of this, as his sponsor, from London? How long will it take? One last question, do I need to get any vaccinations before moving to England?

Thankyou

Stephanie

PS. Does anyone know how much it will cost for me to get my spouse visa to move to the Uk?

Hi Stephanie:
This website might help you out: www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk

Hopefully it will answer some of your questions. If you keep looking around in the website, there are prices on you being a spouse to move into the UK.

Good luck,
Kady

Make sure you get the marriage licence certified by the state, before
going to the UK Embassy. Assuming you have all the documentation
(evidence of funds etc) then you should get the visa the same day.
Get there early!

We made the mistake of trying to get the visa before the marriage
licence had been certified and had to go back, get it certified,
and went back to the Embassy to get the visa the next day, missing
our pre-booked flight!

No vaccinations required, but the visa cost around $400.

When you get to the UK you want to look into doing dcf as we call it here -
file directly at the consuate for your K3. As a resident of the UK you will
be elegible to do this and you can be moving back to the US in about 3
months. Your hubby will have work authorisation on entry, he'll just need to
get his ssn to actually work.

more info can be found here:

www.k1.exit.com

look for the 'dcf: which visa?' link on the left

See http://www.britain-info.org/visas/visas.asp for information on obtaining the spousal visa in the US for entry to the UK.

im confused, why are you getting married here and then going to the UK
for his spouse visa? if you get married in the USA he can stay here
(USA) and "AOS"...adjust his status*!
My UK husband married me here on a visa waiver and we adjusted his
status here..never having gone back to the UK.

We are getting married here and going back to the UK because he has a good job there that he would like to finish up, plus I want the experience of living over there. We do however want to go ahead and start getting everything in place for when we move back to the states.
