I want to know from someone in Canada (like me) who married US citizen. Abut k3 visa (I go to Vancouver) can someone give me details what I will need and howlong it will take we should hear something within 2-3 weeks now I beleive can u email me plse. [email protected] also does anyone know if I NEED to have a passport I know it makes it easier. Also what about plane ticket one way or 2? thnks

Get a passport. You will need it. I just hope you have time to get it before
you appear. If you don't have a passport there is no place to put your visa.

I heard it's rather simple coming from Canada. The consulate office will
call you in for an interview after you have submitted the correct forms
for the K-3, plus his affidavit of support. The interview process is not
really an interview, because they don't really ask questions about
anything expect for cofirmation about the items you filed to make sure
there isn't any confusion, and bang!!! your on your way to the US. As
for booking a flight? well you can guess when all this will happen but
as you know with government offices in any country, t could be today
tomorrow next wee, or a month, well maybe not a month, being K-3's
should be a couple of weeks to get. (Wasn't fully sure of the info you
were looking for but hope this helps)
