K3 thru Michigan POE...EAD stamp??
My hubby will be crossing into the US via either the Port Huron or Detroit POE. I have called each POE on several occasions and both have said that yes they do issue the 90 day EAD stamp and that no, they do not. Which is true? Has anyone had an experience with crossing at either POE in the past few months?
Thanks in advance for any info.

GG,
See the K1FAQ for a link to a website with POE experiences.
Then, for the benefit of others who will follow your husband, have him add his experience when it happens.

I have checked the list you are talking about, but there was nothing there that is recent through Michigan.
We will surely post all his information for the benefit of others.

Georgiagirl - K-1s are eligible for the temporary EAD stamp when they
cross the border. K-3s are not, due to the way Congress wrote the law
that created K-3s, unfortunately.
Detroit Ambassador Bridge and Tunnel (not the airport) and Port Huron DO
give out the EAD stamp, or have in the recent past, as a general rule.
However, they only give them for K-1s, not K-3s.
I'm not a K-3 expert, but I think you will need to apply for an EAD
either through Chicago or by filing for AOS at your district office when
you file for AOS. Kristin

EAD stamp
Once again we are the victims of a cruel technicality. At least now we won't have our hopes up about the EAD stamp.
Thanks so much for the heads up!

I would suggest you take a look at the MSC-EAD Rollcall thread-good info there and it's all for the K3ers,
