to be completed,..
need to wait another month,..?(10 months total,..?)

In my experience, the i-130 is faster then the I-129f for the K-3 visa. It is
makes no difference, as once the i-130 is approved, The K-3 petition is no
longer valid. The Life Act and the K-3 visa is only a way for the government to
make more money off of those of us who want to be with our spouses. Shame on
them for what they are doing. As far as a massive fraud is concerned, my only
hope is that one day a memeber of government or their family will be confronted
with the same situation. Government cannot be held criminally liable. But in
the matter of the Life Act and K-3 visa they should be. It is a fraud
perpatrated on innocent people who only want their loved ones to be with them.
How may millions of dollars has the US government made off of us? For nothing?
By their own rules. If this was a private company, they would be filing charges
upon charges upon charges. For criminal fraud and or negligence. But I guess
our gov can do no wrong. Even though they have ripped me off for $110.00. I
won't forget.

Oh, but you can write MSC a letter, as the "officer" at NCSC says, and
when you explain that you did that 6 weeks ago, "Give them time to
respond.." is their answer....

Still my favorite is when the "officer" gave me the old out of service
number to MSC (816-478-2619)... I guess they don't have staff meetings
or updated scripts....

I'm looking for a new job, anyone knows what the starting salary is
for an "officer" at NCSC?

To clarify, a K3 petition only gets invalidated once an I-130 petition reaches the consulate.

My I-130 was approved by the INS 7/15/02, it is still being processed by the National Visa Center. My I-129F was approved by Missouri 8/15/02, but it did not require any additional processing at the NVC, and my wife received her visa on 9/16/02 from Islamabad. We opted for consular processing, not AOS. Hoping to get the I-130 interview in Dec or Jan as we are in the final stages with NVC.

We are k1 and we were approved in april from ins. We are still waiting for our visa. We have been under administrative review for no reason since august(india). So using k1 is not necessarily faster.

I would like to request all the applicant to call there respective
Congressman and Senators relentlessly every other day and let them
know how are you being treated. Do not give up and keep calling. Write
email to president, Dept. of Justice and do whatever are the right
things to do.

Lets get united and voice our concern through the right medium.
