K3/I824 question
Is it better to file an I 824 application with your K3 package or does MSC
automatically fax to the consulate? Thanks

Personally, I feel that the money spent on the I-824 is money thrown away.
Most times the service centers will cable the approval to the US Consulate. Most US Consulates will do nothing without the actual Service Center file in their hands so sending a cable is useless for some areas. Getting the file could be one week to 3 months from date of approval.
