So am I right in saying that as long as I have applied to adjust status, I can legally remain in the USA while the AOS is pending but after the K3 has expired?
The reason I ask is that we decided late for financial reasons to adjust status instead of going to the I-130 interview in London.
Also, is it possible to extend employment authorisation? I've set up my own business, but I don't think it would survive a month's close down
