Since you're "only 20", I forgive you in advance... but you should have more respect for the traditions of other cultures. Arranged marriages may seem silly to you but, within those cultures, they are not considered silly. No charge!

We understand it isn't a zip zoop ziiiing instant process, I have been trying to calm down my betrothed while she is going "eeek it's all so big and scary," but we definitely know it is a long and probably annoying process of tick box a, sign box b. check you ticked box a. worry signature is slightly too close to the edge of the box.

I don't know, personally I quite enjoy filling out huge crazy forms. She hates it.

I want to use Taco Bell receipts and cctv of us pigging out as proof of having met within the last two years

But seriously, thank you both for the help so far
OK, *you* I'm putting in charge of the paperwork filling. There's always one who likes it more than the other; let them run with it. It's not scary, they're not big forms, but you should know what you are doing before you start. But, all my mellow years later, I've got to say: it's going to take about as long as it takes, and no amount of fretting, stewing and watching processing times is going to be good for anyone. Seriously.

There's a lot to take in, so start with one thing at a time. You've determined which visa is the most appropriate for your family?
Off with your petition then; that is the first step.

I love the TB idea; it MUST be love! lol
