Can anyone in here help me. I have only just discovered this site as I am trying to
get a K1 to marry my faince in Indiana. Having started reviewing whats needed I
have discovered that they want to see a Police Certificate. I have a MINOR offence
and a record I am so worried that this is going to disqualify me from getting into
the states. The offence was 7 years ago for assault. ANYONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

Assault? I don't think there is too much doubt that they will refuse you, though I may be wrong? What punishment did you get, jail, or just a fine. I'm not too sure if this makes a differance. check out Doc Steins site as it has a section on criminal records.
