It seems from your post that the I-129F has not yet been approved. When the I-129F gets approved (which could take up to 6 months), the case goes first to National Visa Center (NVC) in the USA, then gets transferred to London. London will send you a packet of immigration forms to fill out, you'll get your police report (you can be obtaining this now, by the way), and you'll return a checklist to London when you have everything ready. They'll send you another package with information on getting your medical done, and a visa interview appointment. If you get approved at your interview, you'll receive the K-1 a few days later in the mail (with your passport).

It's possible you might get it by June 2008, but don't be surprised if it stretches into August/September 2008.

And you can't always rely on the email or website updates, either...that's not always accurate.

Best Wishes,
Rene

As far as I know, the only thing that will help speed up your case, is if you prepare things ahead of time, and be ready to send things off immediately. For example, you can have your police report ready, you can review the visa application forms ahead of time and have backup documents ready, so you can send in the checklist faster. Sometimes London will work with you to get an earlier interview date, but no guarantees.

It's never a good idea to book things ahead of time that you can't either change or get a refund on, so hopefully it all works out for you.

I made sure that I was super-organised and had everything ready ahead of time so that I could send Packet 3 back the same day it arrived. In all it has taken a little over 6 months to get an interview. We filed on 3rd July 2007 and my interview is on Tuesday.

Everyone's timeline is different but this might give you some idea.
