Default k1/ is my friend can be my co-sponsor?

Hi there,

I am a U.S citizen and currently a college student. I am planning to bring my fiancé
to the US. Here are my problems:
1. my recent 3 yr income tax are about $5000 per/year (part-time), but I do not
have any income for 2001 because I tried to finish my degree this year.

2. if I file 129F, am I getting approved or not?

3. if the INS requires a co-sponsor to prove that my fiancé is not become a
public charge, then is my friend can be my co-sponsor or it has to be my
relative? Since I do not have any relative.

please be advice.

Thank a lots

They have to be a US citizen or permanent resident but they do not have to be
a relative.

Andy.

Yes....anybody that wishes to assume the responsibility.
