K1? Help

My fiancee waited all day outside the Consulate in Manila attempting to get an
extension on our 2nd NOA. After finally making it into the building with her cousin,
they were instructed by Embassy staff to return to the Consulate on Monday. Instead
of providing a service to their customers after hours of standing in line as they
should have, they in turn offered absolutely no help what so ever. Not even an
appointment, just get back in line and try again. There are only about 15 days left
until our NOA expires (4/20/01).
1. Does anyone know if this should be of major concern in the K1 process?
2. Is it possible to request the extention on my side?
I was recently instructed by Senator Kennedy's office that it was up to my fiancee
to apply for the extension. Does this sound like accurate information? Any input
is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Neil

you might want to check out johnathan's or alvena's web sites. i think they have info
about this. usually, i think you just write a notarized letter expressing your
conintued intent to marry your fiance, etc. the fiance then presents this at the
interview. but ia m not sure....
check out these sites - http://pages.prodigy.net/alixtcat/forms/lettrint.htm

hope this helps

Has the Embassy in Manila received the approval notice?
If they have then you do not need an extension.
