K1 Approved in Mumbai!
My fiance just got her K1 visa approved in Mumbai on Fri.! It was very
easy. If people are interested I will post the story of her experience
in amazing detail. I have read a lot of K1 experiences so I'm not sure
if mine will be of any help...
My ? to the group is how long before she will be able to work? How
long is the employment authorization card taking to process these
days?

Congratulations. Your expereince could only help other people going through Mumbai.
I believe that K1s get SSN just by showing your VISA posted in your passport at Social Security office. Just file small form at SS office and you should get your SSN in mail in 15 days or so.
